Cut, Copy, & Paste

You can exchange data between Microstran and other Windows programs with the clipboard. Shown below is a node table with a range of values selected for copying. Using the keyboard shortcuts, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, or Ctrl+X, you can transfer any information to or from a spreadsheet program, for example. You can also calculate load values in a spreadsheet and then transfer them to Microstran.

Microstran uses the Enhanced Metafile Format (EMF) when you copy a graphical view to the clipboard. This means you can also paste graphics straight into AutoCAD, which does not accept the standard bitmap clipboard format.
