Network Support

Microstran is designed to integrate seamlessly with both Windows and Novell networks. Novell NT Client and Novell Client32 are supported. Program and data folders may be located on server or workstation, as required. A network lock may be installed on any computer on the network and users across the whole network are validated up to the concurrent user limit.

By default, Microstran writes intermediate files into the Windows temporary file folder. This is usually on the local workstation, thereby minimizing network traffic. You may easily reconfigure Microstran to use another temporary folder if you wish.
