On-The-Fly Member Attributes

When drawing members, attributes of the new members are determined by settings in the Default Member Attributes dialog box. These settings are changed with the Structure > Attributes > Set Defaults command but it's inconvenient to keep going back to this command while you are drawing a structure. In Microstran V8, the Default Member Attributes dialog box is visible all the time you are drawing, so it's a simple matter to change any member attribute as you go. Attributes of new members are always the same as those displayed in the dialog box.
