Shortcut Keys

Shortcut keys, also known as accelerator keys, give you the option of using a single keystroke for some commands. The standard Windows shortcut, F5, lets you refresh the view at any time (even during another command). There are more shortcuts, including Ctrl+A for the Select All command and Delete for the Erase Members command.

The effect of pressing a shortcut key depends on the context. For example, pressing Delete usually deletes selected members, but in a dialog box it may delete text.
